At 5:52 a.m. CDT (6:52 a.m. EDT), Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: About 20 km (19 km) northeast of Churchill Lake

Motion: Moving east at 45 km/h

Hazards: Hail: up to quarter size (up to 2.5 cm) Rain: heavy (15 - 50 mm)

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
