At 6:35 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: A line over Lower Michigan

Motion: Moving quickly to the east at 65 km/h

Hazards: Wind: damaging (90 - 110 km/h) Rain: heavy (15 - 50 mm)

Locations in the Path: LaSalle Windsor Leamington

Additional information: Power outages have been reported over Michigan and Windsor.
