Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 4:14 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking an area of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

One of the thunderstorms is located west of Rapide-Sept while the other is located to the northeast. They are moving northeastward at 50 kilometres per hour.

Local utility outages are likely. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
