Where: - Metro Vancouver - southeast including Surrey and Langley - Metro Vancouver - central including the City of Vancouver, Burnaby and New Westminster - Metro Vancouver - North Shore including West Vancouver and North Vancouver - Metro Vancouver - northeast including Coquitlam and Maple Ridge - Fraser Valley - west including Abbotsford - Howe Sound

When: Now to Tuesday afternoon.

Remarks: A robust frontal system will gradually move over the Lower Mainland tonight, bringing heavy rain. Rainfall amounts of 50 to 80 mm are expected. This frontal system will also bring strong and gusty southeasterly winds overnight and Tuesday morning.

The heavy rain will ease Tuesday afternoon.

Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic. Local utility outages are possible.
