Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 12:18 p.m. MST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

The severe thunderstorm is located 50 km Southeast of Tumbler Ridge and is moving slowly to the north.

Highway 52 will be affected.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
