Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 5:06 p.m. NDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing heavy rain.

Storm location: near Lower Lance Cove.

Storm motion: moving to the south at about 15 km/h.

Locations and nearby areas that could be impacted include: - Hickman's Harbour - Britannia - St. Jones Within - Hatchet Cove - Little Heart's Ease - Hodge's Cove

Maximum rainfall rates: 25 mm per hour.

Dime-sized hail is also possible.
