At 5:28 p.m. NDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing heavy rain.

Storm location: near Snooks Harbour.

Storm motion: moving to the southeast at about 15 km/h.

Locations and nearby areas that could be impacted include: - Harcourt - Elliott's Cove - Aspey Brook

Maximum rainfall rates: 25 mm per hour.

Pea-to-dime-sized hail is also possible.
