Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.

Hazards: Quarter to ping pong ball size hail Torrential downpours Wind gusts up to 90 km/h

Additional information: Thunderstorms over North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota are expected to move into the area this morning. Large hail and heavy rain will be the primary hazards.

An additional round of severe thunderstorms is possible later this afternoon into this evening.
