Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 11:21 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

This line of severe thunderstorms is located from 10 km north of Rosebud to just north of Mossleigh and is moving towards the east at 60 km/h.

Strong wind gusts of over 100 km/h are indicated on doppler radar.

Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely. Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
