Squall Warning In Effect

Squalls with wind gusts up to 50 knots, frequent lightning, hail up to 2 centimetres and poor to very poor visibility in thunderstorms heavy at times are expected or occurring in the area.

Thunderstorms are tracking east at 25 knots and are expected to track over much of the northern and central part of Lake Huron.

Initial wind gusts from these thunderstorms are expected to be around 35 knots before much stronger wind gusts of 50 knots are expected with a larger area of thunderstorms.
