Potential rainfall rates: locally 25 mm per hour in thunderstorms.
Potential wind gusts: near 90 km/h in thunderstorms.
Potential hail size: 1 to 2 cm.
Time span: this afternoon until later this evening.
Remarks: Thunderstorms, with potential to become severe are expected to develop in Maine ahead of an approaching cold front and track eastward into New Brunswick. The watch may be expanded further east in the afternoon.
