What: Maximum temperatures of 30 to 33 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperatures of 18 to 20 degrees Celsius. Humidex values of 35 to 40.
When: Ending Wednesday evening.
Additional information: Today will mark the peak of this heat event. Maximum temperatures near 33 degrees Celsius are expected this afternoon, and near 30 degrees Celsius Wednesday afternoon.
Hot and humid air can also bring deteriorating air quality and can result in the Air Quality Health Index approaching the high-risk category.
