Yellow Warning - Heat

A period of very warm weather is expected.

Locations: Churchill Falls to Eagle River as well as Postville.

Time span: Tuesday afternoon until Wednesday evening.

Maximum temperature Tuesday: near 28 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperature Tuesday night: near 16 degrees Celsius. Maximum temperature Wednesday: 28 to 32 degrees Celsius.

Remarks: A very warm air mass is expected to move into the region, bringing a period of high daytime temperatures. Nighttime lows are also forecast to stay warm, providing little to no relief.

The warmest conditions are expected to occur on Wednesday.
