A long duration heat event continues.

What: Humidex values in the mid thirties. Maximum temperatures in the upper twenties, with some areas reaching 30 degrees Celsius.

When: Continuing through today. Ending this evening.

Additional Information: While temperatures are expected to be cooler than previous days, the humidity will remain high, resulting in uncomfortable conditions.

Hot and humid air can also bring deteriorating air quality and can result in the Air Quality Health Index approaching the high-risk category.
