Daytime humidex values in the upper 30s to low 40s are expected today and Saturday along with overnight lows in the upper teens.

Some areas may continue to experience high humidex values into early next week.

When it’s hot out, everyone is at risk for heat related illnesses. However, the health risks are greatest for older adults, infants and young children, pregnant people, people with chronic conditions (i.e. Heart / lung conditions or high blood pressure), people who work or exercise in the heat (even if they are healthy), people experiencing homelessness, those with mobility issues, and those experiencing confusion/altered mental status.
