What: Maximum temperatures of 28 to 31 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees Celsius. Humidex values of 35 to 40.
When: Continuing through today, and into Friday for some regions.
Additional Information: This is the first heat event of the year for some regions. Hot and humid air can also bring deteriorating air quality and can result in the Air Quality Health Index approaching the high-risk category.

Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
