Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 6:10 p.m. ADT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: A line of thunderstorms is located from 20 km north of Montagne-des-Roy to the Quebec border in western Restigouche County.

Motion: Moving slowly south at 15 km/h

Hazards: Strong wind gusts near 90 km/h Heavy rainfall rates of 30 to 50 mm per hour.

Locations in the Path: eastern Madawaska County, western Restigouche County
