At 2:50 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.
A severe thunderstorm is located between Chilanko Forks and Redstone and is moving northwards at a speed of 45 km/h.
Areas to be impacted in the next hour include: - Highway 20 between Chilanko Forks and Redstone - Puntzi Lake - Chilanko Forks - Redstone
A second cluster of severe thunderstorms is located near and north of Tatla Lake and is moving north-northwestwards at 45 km/h.
Areas to be impacted in the next hour include: - Towdystan - Nimpo Lake - Tatla Lake - Highway 20 between Tatla Lake and Anahim Lake.
