At 10:12 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: Over Pakenham

Motion: Moving southeast at 45 km/h

Hazards: Wind: strong (90 km/h) Hail: up to toonie size (3 cm) Rain: heavy (20 - 30 mm)

Locations in the Path: Pakenham, Blakeney, Almonte, Carleton Place, Franktown
