Locations: Upper Lake Melville, Eagle River.
Time span: continuing until this evening.
Maximum daytime temperature Today: 30 degrees Celsius. Minimum overnight temperature tonight: 17 degrees Celsius. Maximum daytime temperature Thursday: 27 degrees Celsius.
Remarks: Current indications are that the heat warning will end this evening once temperatures begin to cool. However, given that the forecast high for Thursday is just under the criteria, the warning may need to be extended for another day.
