Orange Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 4:58 p.m. EDT, a line of dangerous thunderstorms is located from about 20 km west of Pelee Island to Point Pelee National Park of Canada then to Charing Cross. These dangerous thunderstorms are moving quickly to the east at 80 km/h. Damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain are possible.

Locations and nearby areas that could be impacted include: Chatham, Chatham-Kent, Leamington, Point Pelee National Park of Canada

There is also a risk of tornadoes.

Utility outages are likely. Significant damage to buildings and/or trees is likely. Heavy rain will likely cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.
