Locally heavy rainfall amounts possible today.

What: Rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 mm, with local amounts up to 70 mm possible in areas that receive several thunderstorms.

When: Ending later this afternoon.

Additional information: Rainfall amounts are expected to be highly variable across the area. Amounts over 50 mm are expected to be very localized.

Rainfall warnings may be required.
