At 8:24 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.
This thunderstorm is located about 20 km southwest of Oliver and is crossing Highway 3 at the junction of Nighthawk Road. It is moving northeast at 30 km/h.

Local utility outages are likely. Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.
