Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 2:13 a.m. CDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and very heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: From 30 km east of Dakota Tipi to 25 km northeast of Winkler

Motion: Moving northeast at 60 km/h

Hazards: Wind: damaging (90 - 110 km/h) Hail: loonie to ping pong ball size (2.5 to 4.5 cm) Rain: very heavy (50 - 100 mm)
