Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 1:28 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and very heavy rain.

The thunderstorm is located near Mont-Brun and is moving very slowly, causing significant rainfall amounts.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
