Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 1:57 a.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking an area of severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong wind gusts and heavy rain.

This thunderstorm area is located near Earlton and is heading east at 30 kilometres per hour.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
