Locations: Halifax County, Northern and Central Nova Scotia

Total rainfall: 70 to 100 mm.

Time span: now until Saturday evening.

Remarks: A developing and slow-moving weather system is bringing periods of heavy rainfall. Rainfall rates of 10 to 20 mm per hour may occur over some locations. Thunderstorms may develop, producing locally heavier rainfall.
