Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing heavy rain.

Locations: Bonavista Peninsula.

Potential rainfall rates: locally up to 25 mm per hour in thunderstorms.

Time span: ending near midnight

Remarks: An area of thunderstorms is currently tracking north over the Bonavista Peninsula. These storms have the potential to become severe.
