Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 8:06 p.m. MST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

This thunderstorm is located 10 km East of Tumbler Ridge and is heading Southeast at 35 km/h. Locations that will be affected include: Bearhole Lake Provincial Park Highway 52 south of Kelly Lake

Driving conditions will likely be difficult.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
