Details

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
Hazards: Wind gusts up to 90 km/h. Quarter to toonie sized hail. Locally heavy rainfall of 30 to 50 mm.
Timing: This evening into the overnight hours.
Additional information: Thunderstorms tracking northeast over Lake Superior will move onshore this evening and continue moving inland tonight. Some storms could become severe with strong winds and large hail.

Heavy rain can cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.
