This warning is in effect for parts of the coast due to the following hazard(s): - Moderate storm surge - Large waves
Storm surge with large waves are expected Tuesday morning. The water levels are expected to reach 0.2 to 0.3 m above highest astronomical tide. These conditions can cause damage to infrastructure including boats along the shoreline.
Water levels Monday morning could approach coastal flooding values before improving in the afternoon. Tuesday will be the more significant period with stronger winds and waves associated as a weather system moves through the region.
