Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 11:23 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

This line of severe thunderstorms are located from near Ashmont to Buffalo Narrows. The line is moving slowly to the northeast at 25 km/h.

Fast-moving and rapidly rising water can sweep vehicles away and damage infrastructure.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
