Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 5:42 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts and heavy rain.

This thunderstorm is located over the mountains about 15 km southwest of Cawston and is moving verly slowly towards the northeast.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
