Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 9:06 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

The thunderstorm is located just north of Sylvan Lake and is moving to the east at 20 km/h.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
