Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 11:18 a.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing up to quarter size hail and heavy rain. Localized flash flooding is expected.

A line of thunderstorms from 20 km north east of Irma to Lloydminster is moving to the northeast at 15km/h.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
