Yellow Warning - Rainfall

Heavy rain is expected.

A low pressure system will give heavy rain to communities on southern Baffin Island beginning Thursday evening. Total accumulations of 25 to 50 mm are expected by the time the rain tapers off on Saturday morning.

Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times. Some property damage is possible.

Rainfall warnings are issued when significant impacts are expected due to rainfall amounts.
