Near-zero visibility in fog is expected.

Dense fog moving inland from Lake Superior will affect portions of the region mainly from near Marathon to the eastern shores of the lake into this morning. The fog will retreat back to the shore of the lake later this morning.

Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times.

Fog advisories are issued when widespread poor visibility in fog is expected.
