At 6:34 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.
This thunderstorm is located along the BC border, 100 km southwest of Grande Prairie and is moving northward at 25 km/h.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.
Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
