Special Weather Statement In Effect

Periods of moderate to heavy rain are expected.

What: 30 to 50 mm of rain.

When: This afternoon to Friday morning.

Where: Yellowhead region including McBride and Valemount.

Additional information: An area of low pressure over Alberta will give rain to the area later today through Friday morning. Water may pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Some travel delays are possible. Watch for washouts near rivers, creeks, and culverts.
