Yellow Warning - Rainfall

Heavy rain is expected.

Where: Metro Vancouver - including North Shore and West Vancouver and North Vancouver Howe Sound

When: Tonight through Sunday.

Remarks: Another strong low pressure system is heading towards the South Coast. The low will produce 50 mm of rain and persist until the system moves farther east.

Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Landslides may occur in vulnerable areas such as steep slopes, deforested areas or recent burn scars.
