Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 1:11 a.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing heavy rain.

These thunderstorms are located 30 kilometres southwest of Le Domaine and are heading northeast at 40 kilometres per hour.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Fast-moving and rapidly rising water can sweep vehicles away and damage infrastructure.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
