Yellow Warning - Wind

Wind gusts up to 100 km/h are expected this afternoon.

A line of showers and weak thunderstorms has developed west of Edmonton and is tracking east along the Yellowhead corridor. Strong wind gusts can be expected as this line of showers passes through the area.

Winds will diminish later this afternoon.

Driving conditions will likely be difficult. High-sided vehicles will be pushed around by the wind. Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible.
