Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 4:10 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking an area of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

These severe thunderstorms are located west of Paddle Prairie and Hawk Hills and are moving toward the east at 15 km/h.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
