Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 5:15 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

This line of severe thunderstorms is located from 20 km east of Cushing Lake to just north of Dewberry and is moving to the north at 20 km/h.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
