Rain, at times heavy, and thunderstorms tonight.
What: Total local rainfall amounts of 50 to 100 mm. Peak rainfall rates of 40 mm in an hour.
When: Continuing through tonight.
Additional information: Rainfall amounts will be highly variable across the region. The highest rainfall totals are likely to occur in a narrow corridor between Atikokan and Upsala where as of 9 p.m. CDT radar estimates that 50 to 75 mm has already fallen.
Rain will taper to scattered showers from west to east overnight.
