At 5:22 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: 30 km east of Polar Bear Provincial Park

Motion: Moving east at 50 km/h

Hazards: Wind: damaging (90 km/h) Hail: loonie to ping pong ball size (2.5 to 4.5 cm) Rain: heavy (15 - 50 mm) Risk of a Tornado
