Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms which may produce tornadoes. Strong winds, large hail and heavy rain are also possible.
A surface trough moving into southeastern Saskatchewan from Montana this afternoon will focus severe thunderstorm development with the potential for tornadoes. The potential for tornadoes will diminish early this evening.
