Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 12:59 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

These severe thunderstorms are located from Strathmore to 10 km west of Rosebud and are moving toward the southeast at 50 km/h.

Significant damage to buildings and/or trees is possible. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
