Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 8:25 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

The thunderstorm is located 10 km northeast of Cochrane and is moving to the southeast at 30 km/h.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
