Details

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing heavy rain.
Locations: western and central New Brunswick.
Potential rainfall rates: locally 30 to 50 mm per hour in thunderstorms.
Time span: until late this evening.
Remarks: Thunderstorms, with potential to become severe, are expected to develop as the air mass over the region becomes increasingly unstable. The storms will be slow-moving, increasing the risk of localized heavy rainfall and flooding.
